Tomorrow night, Friday the 18th, marks our anticipated return to the Nectar Lounge in the People’s Republic of Fremont with Whitewater Ramble from Colorado and Seattle’s Warren G. Hardings. We are also pleased to announce that good friend Julie Istvan will be gracing us with an aerial silk performance during a couple hand-picked Buzz Brümp selections.
Hailing from Fort Collins, Colorado, Whitewater Ramble (WWR) is a 5-piece outfit described as, “High-Octane Rocky Mountain DanceGrass”. In their words:
“The Colorado-bred quintet combines the elements of mandolin, fiddle, acoustic guitar, upright bass, drums and vocals to explore the musical boundaries of multiple genres and to fuel their own mixture of original music and innovative cover song interpretations.
Currently on tour behind their second studio release Roots & Groove (produced by Tim Carbone of Railroad Earth), the band continues their growth as songwriters and musicians while earning legions of new fans and expanding their touring reach.
With over 800+ performances under their belt, the group has truly established themselves as one of the hardest working groups in the jam scene today.
The Warren G. Hardings are a Seattle-based string quintet who, “create a live show experience that promises a foot-stomping party atmosphere and a good time for all. Whether ripping through old standards or performing original songs, the band strives to provide an infectious energy that gets the crowd moving.”
We will be closing out the night and are totally stoked to put on what promises to be a great evening!
