This weekend we are cruising out of Summer in style through two of Washington state’s finest Summer towns, Leavenworth and Lake Chelan.

The 3rd annual Wild and Scenic Music Fest takes place this Friday and Saturday at the magical, and newly renovated, Icicle Creek Center for the Arts.

This charity event features some of the finest bands the NW has to offer, such as Fruition, Star Anna, Spare Rib & the Bluegrass Sauce, Renegade Stringband, Chumstick Liberation Front, Blackberry Bushes, Warren G Hardings, Erin McNamee, The Barn Owls and the Pickup Truckers. All proceeds benefit the Wild & Scenic Institute. There is a Barn Dance on Friday night and doors open at 11:30 AM on Saturday. Our slot is 6:00-7:00PM Saturday evening on the Meadow Main Stage, outdoors.

In their words:

“Our Mission is to provide environmental education and outdoor recreation to special needs children in Washington State. We develop physical and emotional confidence in these youth who due to their physical, cultural, or financial barriers would not otherwise have this opportunity.”

Hunter Hendrickson, our esteemed Vocalist/Guitarist, formed the WSI in 2001 and was recently live on Q13 Fox News explaining the program and festival.

When all is said and done in Leavenworth, we cruise further inward to Lake Chelan for a return Labor Day Sunday show at the Tin Lilly. The Tin Lilly has a great outdoor stage, amazing food and drinks and the staff is super solid all around.

We hope to see you out and about, the forecast looks amazing!
