Our Halloween mini-tour, a.k.a Attack on the Pacific NW has passed and what an amazing time it was! Friday night at Uncle Uli’s in Leavenworth was our almost 1 year anniversary, and we played our first show there after 1 practice last November (Bobby Stein, you’re a nasty bass slinger!).

Uli’s was the first of two nights where the “All-Star Band” was in effect with Rib as Prince, Hunter as Willie Nelson, Soko as Slash, Joe as a chicken??? and, last but not least, Drew as Animal. We had a great opening set by Bootleg Confession and then a full night of music and hops. Thanks to the Uli’s guys for letting us play later, and for those who came and partied late to help make that happen.

Saturday we played a wedding outside at 3000 feet in Wenatchee. Erin and Bruce put on a great event, and what an amazing property they have. Great spread and the turbo kerosene heaters felt like we were playing on the beach. Bruce played drums with a few of us at Uli’s years ago in a band dubbed Ribwich.

We followed Vaughn Kreestoe with 2 sets at the Seamonster Halloween night with some added surprises. Sara Soko had put together a bunch of photos throughout the weekend and projected them during the show [check back to this post for the slideshow in a few]. Joe turned from a chicken into Bo-ootsy Collins, Rick James randomly showed up with a Keytar and came up and played with us and Erin Afner added some tambourine action and freestyled animal back for a drum solo for a late night jam .

Onwards to Conor Byrne in Ballard this Saturday for Erin McNamee’s CD Release Party with the Jamesons. We’ll be closing out the night so swing on by and we’ll pick up right where we left off…
